Ben Venue

Have decided to continue this blog with some of my tramping adventures nearer home. Last weekend I stayed with my brother and family in Kinlochard. On the Saturday drove over to Loch Achray and took the path up Ben Venue http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/lochlomond/ben-venue.shtml:



On the way up has great views back over Loch Achray and Loch Vennachar:

In fact you could see Edinburgh and, I think, the hills of Arran. Here looking down onto the steamer on Loch Katrine:

From the top I took the path back down into Kinlochard. A lovely walk of about 4 hours.
