After being dropped off I had planned a walk back through the woods along some of the many tracks I could see on Google maps. However there were more than a few of these signs:

So instead I mostly walked along the unsealed and pretty quiet road. At one point I did find a nice path along the lake that led to a quiet little spot for a picnic. Though I did have to endure waves from the boats cruising in from the other side of the lake.
